Why NYLANA Operates:

How Does NYLANA do this? By providing forums in which members can be educated and share information, holding general meetings and Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings and the distribution of various publications, including the NEW YORK LAN JOURNAL.

NYLANA is the New York area affiliate of NetWare Users International (NUI) which was founded in 1985 as an umbrella organization to provide support for Novell NetWare users. Today, NUI and its International affiliated local area groups are operated by volunteers as independent not-for-profit professional organizations that promote the exchange of information among all users of Novell NetWare and related networking products. NUI is endorsed by Novell, Inc.

NYLANA is a volunteer operation whose membership is open to all persons interested in Networking, LAN's and WAN's, Internet and Intranet computing.
